However I have been thinking about my departure, summer hiking boots, a couch

When I called Valentina she refused to tell me whom she had killed to get such a prime spot. Practically in the first row. I was baffled in between being so close to the stage, not having anybody seated in front of me, and the "what should I tell the cops when they pick me up for the murder". "Valentina framed me." did not sound convincing. Plus she had the perfect alibi, now being at the other end of the city, studying Spanish. How innocent!

The hall was ugly beyond belief, but the diva still made my hairs stand on end. Besame, besame mucho. It was worth the driving and parking hell and the smell of long gone days of sweaty sport competitions that gave the place its fame. What have I learned? Well, there are people who deserve to seat in the front row, and people who sit in the front row. And those are not all the people.

The lady kicks ass of course but, understandably, she's not my cup of tea.

But where was the concert? At Sala Polivalentă?

Sala Polivalenta is ugly. How come you are always "Away" and or "Busy" these day?

I am working & fucking a lot these days.

Look who's talking, by the way. Mr Invisible.

So which is what? Away for fucking, and busy for working, or that is too obvious? Anyway, good for you, I hear both work and sex provide great personal satisfaction and deep feeling of accomplishment. I say go for it.

Bingo.

Comfort sex is better than chocolate, I guess.

Nu ti s-a parut totusi ca Evora era cam plictisita? Parca a lipsit un energy flow.

Maine, Duran? :)

Mazi, when I'm 65 I want to be equally bored and energy lacking as she were that night. As compared to the previous time "we met", I found her quite chatty.

No Duran, no Seal, unfortunately. This jungle preparation is eating up all my time and resources for the moment.

Omara Portuondo canta de ziua mea. Sa ma duc, sa nu ma duc...? What's your opinion on that?

monsoux said...

See you there? Let me know about your final decision, so that I make the banner with "Happy Birthday, Mazi".

Huh, and to think I didn't even want to go...

Revenind la muzici, de Teresa Garcia Caturla? Si ea e tot bunica, dar la "The Havana Lounge" a facut turul Salii Palatului si a mai si luat lumea la dans ;)

monsoux said...

Omara has sung for me at a time of solitude and miserable sentimental failures. I make it my duty to see her in person :). I have no idea how old Caturla is, but she can definitely move. I was not that impressed with the songs, but I sure remember the performance. I might have written a line about her. Not sure, let me check. Btw, a friend of mine danced with her at the time.

Exactly. At the time I was saying "superb Buena Vista Havana Lounge". http://monsoux.blogspot.com/2006/05/when-its-happening-i-dont-have-time.html

You just got on the list for "people I oficially envy" for being there.
