Of words and things

Do you find it curious how sometimes a word finds you and sometimes you loose a word? Has it ever happened to you? To be short of the extra word? The other day I have found myself musing over acribie. It must be my brains, getting hungry for the dictionary, because I cannot rest unless the popped-up word is put to rest. What can be worse? Of course missing the word. Having it on the tip of your tongue, but not being able to articulate it. The nemesis word for yesterday was parody, stubbornly not making an appearance for the movie related post.
